SAKW 73rd Annual Meeting will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, January 30-31, 2024, at the Hotel Topeka at City Center, 1717 SW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, Kansas. 

We plan to follow the same format as in 2023 with a watershed event at the Kansas State Capitol. The SAKW Board of Directors will contact Watershed Districts within the next months to encourage them to showcase their Watershed with a picture display or other information about the structures within their districts. 

The meeting will begin at the Hotel Topeka at City Center on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, with registration from 8 to 9 a.m., Keynote Address, and a presentation from 9:10 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., shuttle coaches will transport attendees to the Kansas State Capitol for a luncheon and meet and greet your legislators. The shuttle coaches will pick up at the Kansas State Capitol at 2 p.m. to return to the hotel. The meeting presentations will reconvene at 2:30 p.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. The meeting will reconvene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The registration fee includes meeting registration, shuttle service, and lunch.
